THE MENUS
The Saints of Ingram Menus, Morning Coffee to Dinner by Candlelight
Every menu at Saints of Ingram, served in one intimate room on the ground floor of Hutchesons’ Hall in Glasgow’s Merchant City. Breakfast, brunch and lunch in the light, steak and seafood after dark, and a full bar from the first coffee to the last cocktail. Four menus, one room, the whole of the day.
THE KITCHEN
Scottish produce, treated simply.
We cook around what Scotland does best. Prime Scottish beef comes off a large grill, fillet, sirloin, lamb rump and maple-glazed barbecue short rib, finished simply with sauces and butters made in-house. No charcoal, no theatre, just heat, timing and good produce. From the west coast come mussels, langoustines, whole roasted lobster, baked monkfish and native oysters, handled with the same restraint and asked to do little more than taste of themselves.
It is one room and one kitchen, but the day moves through it in stages. Morning brings coffee, the full Saints breakfast and unhurried weekend brunch; the afternoon settles into lunch, salads and Saints signatures like steak and eggs and chicken and waffles; and as the candles are lit the room turns to steak, seafood and seasonal plates. A proper bar runs the length of it all, cocktails, wine, whisky and beer, whatever the hour calls for.
